Introduction

Introducing my new blog! For those who don’t know me, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Genny and together with my family we own a pet grooming salon in the city of London. SPOTLESS PAWS opened it doors October 4th, 2004.
I started my journey in the world of pet grooming when I was 14. My sister owned a salon and I helped her out after school and on weekends. I LOVED being around the animals. I learned from an early age some of the challenges that groomers face on a day to day, pet by pet basis. Yet, I still loved being there and helping out! I attended Pets Beautiful grooming school the summer of 1995. I was 16 years old. I continued to gather extensive knowledge after attending grooming school by using hands on skills acquired by various mentors that I had the pleasure to learn from and work under.
Currently I continue my education by attending and watching seminars given by this industry’s finest.  I have also been taking courses in natural animal health including homeopathy, healing herbs, tellington touch, canine massage and Reiki for animals and pet first aid and CPR.
My goals are to share with you tips relating to grooming at home, basic tutorials, trending health topics and general pet care. I also hope the information provided here will be interesting and engaging for the reader. This blog will never offer medical advice. Anything read here should be followed up by advice from your veterinarian.
